Boote in Brasilien

"A 2 pas du centre historique de Douarnenez sur le port, charmand petit voilier où il fait bon séjourner ; ce n'est pas très grand (normal), mais c'est bien aménagé, et vous avez tout pour passer un bon séjour insolite."

Il peut faire un peu frais et humide (mais nous y étions en février ce qui est normal sur un bateau)

"Ideal overnight stop over for cycling in Flanders. Bart is a great host and the bar had many interesting beers. Breakfast in the morning was excellent."

The sleeping accommodation in the small boat was a bit cramped and in hot weather not very comfortable.

"Personal ist super freundlich, die Zimmer sehr sauber. Bar / Restaurant ist bis 23:00 Uhr geöffnet, Pizzen sind top. Etwas klein sind die Kajüten, ist aber auch irgendwie gemütlich. Frühstück ist guter Standard. Anbindung Linie 2 oder 17 Straßenbahn zur Innenstadt sind 400m entfernt."

Wasserkocher mit Tee/Kaffee in den Zimmern wäre gut. Getränkeauswahl Rezeption leicht erhöhen und ein paar Snacks angenehm. 😁

"Great value. Comfortable room with decent shower. Amazing views of the marina."

This is a new concept. A few teething issues to sort. Breakfast took a long time. They should also make you aware in advance about cruise timings as it means the boat is unaccessible. This is OK providing your planning an evening out somewhere anyway. Evening cruise from 8pm to 11pm in our case

"Wir bekamen diesmal ein Zimmer auf der Donau Seite, sehr schöner Ausblick auf die UFO Brücke und morgens scheint die Sonne rein. Die Bewertung des Service bezieht sich ausschließlich auf die Rezeption, da derzeit aufgrund von Personalmangel kein Restaurant betrieben werden kann, man kann aber Frühstück auch vor Ort buchen und erhält einen Voucher für's Frühstücksbuffet im Park Inn. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und absolut genial, man ist zu Fuß gleich in der Altstadt und beim Castle, hat aber auch einige Straßenbahnlinien und Busse gleich in der Nähe."

Das das Frühstück im Park Inn doch etwas mehr kostet als früher am Botel.

"Our stay on the Yathra Houseboat will always stay in our minds and hearts. This is our second time within 3 years. We had a vacation of our life with all the comfort and pampering by the staff on the boat. The cruise on the river provided rare glimpse of few exotic birds and a large group of monkeys. The narrations by the Manager of the Dedduwa Boat House about those birds were very informative. The Skipper was kind enough to stop along the river bank to watch the birds closely and take photographs. The candle-lit dinner and the night spend on the upper deck was simply magical. The next day my husband even managed catch some fish while cruising. The staff arranged them to be prepared for our lunch and that dish was out of this world. The staff went an extra mile to make us happy. The bedrooms and the facilities on board were above standard. This is the best destination we spend while in Sri Lanka. Keep it up Yathra and we will back again next year."

Housekeeper Mr. Shaban hat sich sehr gut um unser leibliches Wohl und persönliches Wohlgefühl gekümmert. Es gab auch jederzeit leckeren Kaschmir-Tee. Der Manager Mr. Ahmed hat uns wertvolle Tipps zu Ausflügen in die Umgebung. Der persönliche Kontakt und Informationsaustausch war sehr angenehm. Gern kommen wir wieder."

"The Sailboat Ragamuffin is a unique experience. You are staying in a sailboat moored off of Water Island, where your hosts live after sailing the Caribbean for 30 years. They are a font of information and anecdotes about the US virgin islands and others. Jo is an accomplished chef and strives to give you the food types you desire. They pick you up by dinghy on the Crown Marina dock, and will take you by dinghy over to Water Island. In my case, I had two berths (bedrooms and bathrooms) on the boat, rocked to sleep by the rolling of the boat on the water. Don't miss going to water island, golf cart to Limestone Beach (coral reef) and Honeymoon Beach (the latter has turtles swimming around)"

The listing didn't make it quite clear what the accommodation would be - it described an apartment and a pool view. I thought it might be a houseboat on a dock. The pool view is the sea around the boat!

"Bernanrd ist ein super Gastgeber der die Extrameile geht. Wir sind nachts angekommen und er hat lange auf uns gewartet und die super schweren Koffer auf den Katamaran gehieft. Es war ein traumhaftes Erlebnis in der Lagune Cook aufzuwachen am Morgen und frische Ananas serviert zu erhalten . Anschliessend gab es einen Schwumm im glasklaren Meer"

Nix für seekranke Menschen obwohl es sehr ruhig in der Lagune war
