Zelt-Lodges in Kambodscha

"Everything from the transfer drive in the lodge 4x4 and boat hop to the island was first class. Our tented accommodation was superb. Loved the outside shower (there is an internal shower). The included game drives and river cruise were fantastic and our guides were friendly and informative. Hippos in the river close by, monkeys in the trees. You really feel you are in the bush. Food, superb. Service, superb. Full stocked mini bar. Seating area around the fire pit, amazing. I could go on all day with positives. Highly recommend 👌"

"The kidness of the host. She was really helpful and open to propose solutions when necessary. All the staff was amazing and the showed a lot of hospitality."

Some of the fourniture was a little old and that really impacts the perception of gests. This does not mean that the hotel wasn't clean, it is just a question of maintenance of the fourniture.

"Hier kann man entspannen bei absoluter Ruhe und sauberer Luft. Das gibt es nicht in Samarkand oder Buchara zu jeder Jahreszeit. Der Comfort ist ist entsprechend eines Camps, und man merkt die viele Mühe die hinter der Pflege und Organisation steckt. Wanderungen auf einen Berg mit Aussicht ist sehr langwierig, anstrengend und war für uns Senioren in der kurzen Zeit nicht möglich. Das Camp liegt einfach in einem tiefen Tal und die Berge sind hoch und die Wege schwierig. Aber 30 Minuten am Abend spazieren gehen ist auch schon Urlaub. Der Sternenhimmel und die Ruhe leiden darunter aber nicht. Die Milchstraße ist hier ungetrübt zu sehen und die Ohren pfeifen fast vor dieser unendlichen Stille. Ich finde im Nachhinein die Natur in Zentralasien beeindruckender als die Kultur."

"Sehr nettes Personal, man kann alles nur mit Karte bezahlen ,wenn ihr dem sehr netten Personal Trinkgeld geben wollt, Bargeld mitbringen. 1.bis 15. Oktober sehr wenig los,Mitte Oktober beginnt die Hauptsaison. Im Oktober sehr warm, Meer etwa 30 Grad Celsius.Bei Vollmond gibt es im Oktober Quallen. Meer sehr schön,Swimmingpool sehr sauber. Essen sehr gut. Wundervolle Spaziergänge in den Dünen hinter dem Camp. Die große Düne hinter dem Camp hinter dem See kann man in 40 Minuten erreichen ,wunderbare Dünenlandschaft. Viele Vögel. Campfire nur wenn viele Gäste da sind (ab etwa 25 Leuten). Auch Exkursionen möglich- eher teuer. Anreise am besten mit türkisem Kawa Taxi, vom Flughafen etwa 130 bis 150 Rial, vom Massaieed Roundabout wird man gratis abgeholt."

"Great set up, breakfast, it poured with rain one night and the tent was dry as a bone. Dog loved it. Didn’t use the swimming pool but looked good for families. Good showers and communal cooking facilities."

"Sehr außergewöhnliche Übernachtung. Fantastischer Blick über die Bucht und in den Himmel. Sauna/Whirlpool (gegen gesonderte Buchung) nebenan. Gemütliches Bett, auch Sitzgelegenheit für draußen sind vorhanden für den Sundowner. Eine besondere Übernachtungsmöglichkeit."

Die Igloo-Huts sind schon etwas eng, das Trocken-WC und ein Waschbecken ist zwar auf dem Zimmer, aber platzbedingt keine Dusche (im Hostel nebenan). Hat uns für die eine Nacht nicht gestört.

Es hat sehr geregnet und dadurch war die Matratze und auch das Bettzeug nass.

Wenig Möglichkeiten, die Nordlichter direkt am Ort zu betrachten - wegen Lichtverschmutzung Fotografie auch kaum möglich; Lage relativ nah an einer Straße.

The thing about having points in access card to take shower, it’s not needed, people who are doing camping are nature friendly enough to do not waste water.
